This Ottertail Canoe Paddle is made from cherry sourced from lumber mills local to the crafter, and finished with minimum 3 coats high grade marine varnish. 

For best paddle longevity, store inside when not in use. Paddles left out in the elements for extended periods deteriorate over time.
