Meadowsweet: Meadowsweet shines as an herb for stomach aches, nausea and poor digestion. Meadowsweet is a perfect match for healing ulcers. It is astringent and helps to tighten and tone the lining of the stomach. It is aromatic and helps to support optimal digestion. It also helps to relieve pain (often the worst symptom of ulcers) and it has anti-microbial activity that can address any secondary infection.
We believe tea should be brewed to suit your personal taste, so try our suggestions below, but don't be afraid to play around! For example, if you want a stronger brew, just use more tea. And don’t forget to re-steep your tea leaves to get the most out of your leaf!
Suggested Preparation: 1-2 tsp of tea into an infuser, pour 8oz of boiling water over, cover to stop nutrients from escaping in the steam, and steep for 5-10min. Strain and enjoy hot, or iced! Sweeten with honey if desired.
Storage: Our teas are sold in innovative backyard compostable packaging (even the label!). Simply transfer your tea into an airtight storage container (out of direct sunlight and away from moisture), and toss the packaging into your compost pile or green bin. To make sure you’re always getting the best cup of tea possible, we recommend you consume within 12 months from date of purchase.
Our belief in plant medicine and regenerative farming goes into every herbal product we make. From the seed to the shelf, we take care in every step of the process.
