Photo taken August 15, 2017 off Hwy 38 near Harrowsmith, Ontario. The photo has not been edited or enhanced in manner. The painted lady butterfly is often mistaken for the Monarch Butterfly with very similar colours. They are concentrated mainly in the American southwest and only migrate into southern Canada during the hottest of summers.
