Charred Threads - Tropical Fruit Hot Sauce (Hot Heat)
Introducing Charred Threads!
The flavor profile is bright tropical fruit (Fresh Pineapple, Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice). Heat is supplied from fresh Caribbean red and orange Habaneros provided locally from an Ontario farm. Savory, sweet and floral notes are provided from Locally harvested Wildflower Honey, Ontario Saffron threads and fresh garlic. We add Charred and Roasted Orange Bell Peppers and toasted Korean Chile Threads for another layer of heat and flavor as well as adding visual interest to the sauce. We tested this one multiple times and adjusted the ingredient amount to give the perfect mouth feel, flavor and heat!

We proudly introduce our Medium (or Hotter) sauce in our signature line. Meet Starless our darkest and richest sauce. It is a rich Mole style sauce with a twist..
We start with the Mexican Chiles.. Ancho, Pasilla and two types of Chipotle (Meco and Morita). They add a smoky and spicy base to the sauce.
This is where it gets interesting! We add three of the most gourmet and tasty mushrooms revered for their flavours and aromatics by Chefs worldwide! Morel, Chanterelle and Porcini. Very savory and earthy!
Locally sourced pure Canadian Maple Syrup, dark Cocoa and Coffee add depth, sweetness, robust flavors and color to the sauce.
We then take it to another level adding ground Sumac, Roasted Garlic, Tahini (ground Sesame Paste), Kosher Salt and Za'atar spice blend which contains (Marjoram, Oregano, Thyme, Basil, Sumac, and Sesame seeds).
Rich, Robust, Dark, Smoky and darn tasty!

Viridescent - East Indian Inspired Verde Style Hot Sauce (Mild Heat)
This is our mildest sauce of our signature line (still hot but a great sauce for those newbies;). We've named it Viridescent (meaning: almost green or becoming green).. we thought the name was fitting due to the sauces beautiful greenish and yellow hue. What a flavor explosion this sauce is. Layers upon layers of flavor.
The inspiration came from our love of Mexican style "Verde" sauces and the deep complex and spicy flavors from East Indian cuisine.
The sauce starts with freshly roasted Serrano, Jalapeno and Tomatillos for a hearty base and the addition of fresh Green and Yellow Bell Peppers. Next we add fresh Green Onions, Fresh Garlic, and freshly squeezed Lime Juice and Lime zest.
Then the spices come to play. Ground Turmeric (for color and health benefits) and Garam Masala.
Garam Masala for those not familiar is an extremely aromatic and delicious East Indian spice blend which is used as a base in many East Indian dishes as well as a base for many curries. It contains: (Black Pepper, White Pepper, Cloves, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Cardamom, Bay Leaf, and Cumin).
We balance all of the flavors with pure Cane Sugar, Kosher Salt and Coconut Cream. So good!
